FP&A Lead

About the role

We are seeking an FP&A Lead to establish and own the central financial planning and analysis function for a rapidly scaling AI technology business based in Switzerland. You will build the consolidated company model, lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, and develop monthly reporting processes that guide executive and board-level decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a driver‑based consolidated company model and operating expense model using Pigment, integrating inputs from commercial, product, and compute finance teams.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecast cycles, managing headcount planning and G&A forecasting.
• Establish a monthly reporting cadence, prepare financial sections of board materials, and support quarterly business reviews.
• Introduce disciplined financial evaluation for major investment decisions, assessing unit economics, gross profit, and investment returns.
• Help strengthen the central FP&A function and prepare planning processes for future IPO readiness.

Required profile

• Hands‑on finance professional with experience building driver‑based financial models from scratch in a high‑growth technology environment.
• Proven track record leading annual budgets and reforecast cycles end‑to‑end.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to communicate financial performance to executive and board audiences.
• Comfortable working autonomously, managing competing priorities, and collaborating across commercial, product, and finance teams.

Required skills

• Pigment (or similar financial planning tools such as Anaplan, Adaptive Planning)
• SQL for data extraction and analysis
• Use of AI tools to improve analytical efficiency
