Freelance Business Development Manager – UK Energy Sector

About the role

exnaton is seeking an experienced freelance Business Development Manager to help expand its presence in the United Kingdom. You will work independently, leveraging your network in the energy sector to generate new opportunities and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and contact potential customers in the UK energy market.
• Manage key stages of the sales cycle, from outreach to deal closure, based on agreed scope.
• Use existing relationships and market knowledge to open doors and accelerate conversations.
• Represent exnaton authentically to prospective customers and partners.
• Provide market insights and feedback to the core Sales and Product teams.
• Collaborate remotely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to align messaging, pricing, and proposals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience in the energy industry.
• Established network and credibility within the UK energy market.
• Ability to work independently, manage time and priorities.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Fluent English and an entrepreneurial mindset.
