Freelance SEO Specialist – Swiss Premium Brand (German & French)

About the role

We are relaunching the digital content strategy for a premium cigarillo brand in Switzerland, targeting a sophisticated, slow‑living audience. As a freelance SEO specialist, you will own the keyword research and content architecture for the German (DE‑CH) and French (FR‑CH) markets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Swiss‑specific keyword research in DE‑CH and FR‑CH using Semrush, avoiding generic German terms.
• Build an editorial SEO matrix for Q4 articles, including primary/secondary keywords, search intent, volume, and H1/meta placeholders.
• Design a standalone internal linking framework that connects new articles and drives newsletter sign‑ups.
• Map out a 2027 content repurposing plan, linking SEO assets to newsletter content and identifying emerging Swiss search trends.
• Deliver three DE‑CH and three FR‑CH blog articles between now and December, one per month.

Required profile

• Native or professional proficiency in German (Swiss) and working knowledge of French.
• Proven experience in internal linking strategy and keyword mapping, preferably without an existing site structure.
• Advanced skills with Semrush and Google Trends.
• Experience in regulated markets such as tobacco, alcohol, or CBD is a plus.
• Based in Switzerland or able to work reliably via VPN.
