Front Arena AMAS Specialist - Market Making (100%)

About the role

Julius Baer is hiring a Front Arena AMAS Specialist (market making, 100%) in Zurich. You will focus on the AMAS-PRIME interaction to support market making and quoting. The position is a 12-month contract with immediate start, paid through an external payroll partner, with possible extension.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy robust functionalities integrated across trading and back-office ecosystems.
• Own critical services end to end, ensuring high availability and minimal production downtime.
• Lead integration between Front Arena and upstream and downstream systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production incidents.
• Review code and work to uphold quality, security and architectural standards.
• Implement system improvements for performance, scalability and resilience.
• Contribute to change and release management in an agile (SAFe) framework.
• Act in line with ethical conduct, risk discipline and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on development with AMAS, AFG, AIMS and AMAS interaction with PRIME.
• Understanding of capital markets, especially structured products and equity derivatives.
• Good knowledge of market making with AMAS and PRIME.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders, work under pressure and lead teams.
• Very good written and spoken English.
