Front Arena AMAS Specialist – Market Making (12‑month contract)

About the role

As a Front Arena AMAS Specialist focusing on market making, you will support the AMAS‑PRIME interaction and ensure seamless integration across trading and back‑office systems at Julius Baer.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy robust functionalities across trading and back‑office ecosystems.
• Own critical services end‑to‑end, guaranteeing high availability and minimal downtime.
• Lead integration efforts between Front Arena and upstream/downstream systems.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and resolve complex production incidents efficiently.
• Conduct reviews to uphold quality, security and architectural standards.
• Identify and implement improvements to boost performance, scalability and resilience.
• Contribute to change and release management within an agile (SAFe) framework.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on development experience with AMAS, AFG, AIMS and AMAS‑PRIME interaction.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, especially structured products and equity derivatives.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
• Comfortable working under pressure with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
