Front Desk Manager – Boutique Fitness Studio

About the role

Velocity is a boutique fitness studio chain in Switzerland looking for a Front Desk Manager to lead the daily operations of one of its locations (Enge, West or Zug). The role combines customer service, studio preparation and team leadership to ensure a seamless experience for members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and check‑in members, provide towels, shoes and assist with studio set‑up.
• Prepare the studio for classes – turn on lights, music, operate Veloboard technology and manage the front‑of‑house booking system.
• Lead, motivate and develop a personable front‑desk team.
• Oversee retail operations and maintain inventory.
• Handle day‑to‑day studio issues, including manual tasks such as washing towels and cleaning equipment.

Required profile

• Energetic, upbeat and passionate about fitness and hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Excellent phone and email etiquette in both English and German.
• Highly organized self‑starter with multitasking abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and hold a valid Swiss work permit or residence.

Required skills

• Experience with Veloboard technology.
• Proficiency in using a front‑of‑house booking system.
