Full-Stack Developer (React & Python) – Basel

About the role

We are looking for a Full‑Stack Developer to join a small, agile team supporting a Basel‑based client in the pharma sector. You will work on both frontend and backend components, delivering new features that enable the registration and analysis of chemical compounds.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and deploy new features across React/TypeScript front‑end and Python back‑end.
• Develop and enhance registration workflows for small molecules, peptides and monomers.
• Integrate and maintain REST APIs and internal services for data registration, analytics and authentication.
• Support production roll‑outs, user training and hyper‑care activities, including bug fixing and feedback triage.
• Manage container manifests, secrets and CI processes, ensuring reliable deployments to test and production environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional full‑stack development experience with React, TypeScript and Python.
• Proven experience with RESTful services, Git and CI‑based workflows.
• Ability to own features from design through production support.
• Understanding of chemistry workflows or experience with chemical registration/LIMS systems is strongly preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills.
