Full-Stack Mobile AI Engineer

About the role

Join EnableMe Foundation’s Smart Helper team to build AI‑enhanced mobile solutions that improve the daily lives of people with disabilities and chronic conditions worldwide. You will work remotely or from our St. Gallen office, collaborating with a Solution Architect, DevOps engineer, product owner, and tech advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop native iOS and Android experiences using React Native (Expo) with a focus on accessibility and WCAG compliance.
• Design and implement Python APIs (FastAPI or Django) to orchestrate large‑language‑model (LLM) workflows, matchmaking, and predictive analytics.
• Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and agentic frameworks for context‑aware AI interactions.
• Build scalable, privacy‑first data architectures on PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Platform.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, manage feature flags, and ensure automated testing.
• Iterate quickly using agile methods, turning beta‑user feedback into production features.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering production‑grade React Native applications.
• Strong background in Python backend development, preferably with FastAPI or Django.
• Familiarity with LLM integration, prompt engineering, and retrieval‑augmented generation patterns.
• Understanding of data privacy, accessibility standards, and cloud infrastructure.
