Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Join FELFEL as a Full Stack Software Engineer to build and maintain systems that power warehouse automation and smart fridges. You will work on both backend and frontend components, directly impacting the physical world and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop warehouse and supplier web applications for inbound processing, picking, labeling, and inventory.
• Maintain the internal back‑office tool, including its backend and GraphQL API for menus, deliveries, inventory, and customer sites.
• Manage the service linking automated picking lanes to the broader system to ensure continuous warehouse operations.
• Update and release the Android Point‑of‑Sale app deployed on hundreds of smart fridges.
• Integrate and support payment systems (Card, TWINT), ERP, and partner integrations.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, debug live issues, and work on‑site in the warehouse to test changes.
• Translate vague, non‑technical problems into shipped solutions and own production deployments with clear rollback plans.

Required profile

• Proven production experience with at least one typed backend language (C#, Java, Kotlin, Go, or TypeScript) and a modern frontend framework.
• Experience owning software in production, including on‑call duties and live issue resolution.
• Willingness to work with C#, TypeScript, Android, and Kotlin.
• Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar tech stacks and ship reliable code.
• Strong collaboration skills with end‑users such as warehouse and operations staff.
• Fluent English; German or French is a plus.
• Valid work permit or Swiss passport; non‑smoker.
