About the role

A private family in Chêne-Bougeries, Geneva, seeks a reliable and discreet full‑time housekeeper. The role involves maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation throughout the home while supporting the family’s daily needs.

Key responsibilities

• General cleaning of all living areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and upkeep.
• Laundry duties: washing, drying, folding and careful organisation of clothes and linens.
• Professional ironing and garment care.
• Keeping wardrobes, cupboards and household spaces neat and well‑organised.
• Changing bed linen and maintaining bedrooms and bathrooms.
• Monitoring household supplies and notifying the family when replenishment is needed.
• Assisting with shopping or other household errands as required.
• Supporting practical day‑to‑day tasks that contribute to the smooth running of the household.
• Maintaining a discreet, respectful and professional presence at all times.

Required profile

• Experience in private‑household housekeeping with verifiable references.
• Legal right to work in Switzerland (EU passport or valid Swiss work permit).
• Meticulous, organised and detail‑oriented.
• Proactive, able to work independently and take initiative.
• Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of household tasks.
• Comfortable working in a private family environment.
• Well‑presented and professional appearance.
• Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken).
