GCP DevOps Engineer

About the role

Join a dynamic technology consulting environment where you will design, build, and optimise cloud‑native infrastructure for a variety of client projects. You will use your Google Cloud Platform expertise to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available solutions while driving automation across the software delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Build, optimise and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency.
• Containerise applications with Docker and manage Kubernetes environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and incident‑response processes.
• Collaborate with development, operations and security teams to enforce cloud security best practices and optimise costs.
• Maintain technical documentation and support ongoing infrastructure optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of DevOps experience with strong Google Cloud Platform expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Relevant DevOps or Google Cloud certifications are a plus.
