Genesis I&A Consultant (German, French and English speaker)

About the role

Intuitive, a pioneer in robotic-assisted surgery, is looking for a Genesis I&A Consultant in Aubonne. The consultant provides customers with onsite and remote consulting and educational initiatives that help them implement and maintain best-practice solutions for Intuitive medical technology, instruments and accessories. The role works closely with hospital stakeholders and Intuitive's ecosystem partners, as well as with Sales, Advanced Failure Analysis, Marketing, Customer Services and Tech Support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver consulting and education to customers to implement and maintain Intuitive medical technology and accessory best practices
• Standardize processes, improve efficiency, train staff and support cost containment
• Work with hospital stakeholders and ecosystem partners to help customers launch, optimize and sustain successful da Vinci and Ion programs

Required profile

• B.S./B.A. degree preferred, or equivalent biomedical training in Life Sciences or a technical equivalent
• 5+ years of documented professional experience in healthcare or hospital management
• National certification preferred according to regional requirements
• Fluent in English, German and French
• Willingness to be flexible with work hours and to travel overnight up to 70%
• Minimum 24 months in the role to be eligible for an internal transition opportunity

Required skills

• Detailed knowledge of regulations and standards for reprocessing reusable medical devices (ISO, MDR)
• Working knowledge of complex medical devices and their reprocessing regulations
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with groups of varying size and to plan and oversee complex assignments
