I&A Consultant (German, French and English speaker)

About the role

Intuitive, a pioneer in robotic-assisted surgery, is looking for a Genesis I&A Consultant fluent in English, German and French. The consultant provides customers with onsite and remote consulting and educational initiatives that help them implement and maintain best-practice solutions for Intuitive medical technology, instruments and accessories through standardization, efficiency, staff training and cost containment.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with hospital key stakeholders and Intuitive ecosystem partners, including leadership, to give customers the tools needed to launch, optimize and sustain successful da Vinci and Ion programs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Advanced Failure Analysis, Marketing, Customer Services and Tech Support.
• Deliver consulting and education focused on standardization, efficiency, staff training and cost containment.

Required profile

• B.S./B.A. degree preferred, or equivalent biomedical training in Life Sciences or a technical equivalent.
• 5+ years of documented professional experience in healthcare or hospital management.
• National certification preferred according to regional requirements.
• Fluent in English, German and French; able to travel overnight up to 70% of the time.
• Minimum expectation of 24 months in the role to be eligible for a transition opportunity within the organization.

Required skills

• Detailed knowledge of regulations and standards for reprocessing reusable medical devices (ISO, MDR).
• Working knowledge of the use, reprocessing and regulations of complex medical devices.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Business acumen and the ability to communicate consistently across organizational levels.
• Ability to plan and oversee complex, strategic assignments involving multiple teams.
