Global Account Manager

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Global Account Manager to lead strategic partnerships with major industrial and energy customers. You will own the global account strategy, work across regions and business units, and act as the trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global account strategies that align customer priorities with Hitachi Energy’s growth ambitions.
• Lead the end‑to‑end customer journey across regions, ensuring a seamless experience and driving new business opportunities.
• Create and maintain comprehensive account plans, including stakeholder mapping, opportunity pipelines, and risk analysis.
• Facilitate C‑level engagement through executive meetings, business reviews, and strategic workshops.
• Monitor account performance using Salesforce, ATLAS, and other commercial tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in complex enterprise sales, business development, or strategic account management.
• Proven track record of closing seven‑figure software, digital, or technology deals.
• Experience with large industrial customers such as utilities, mining, rail, oil & gas, or process industries.
• Strong ability to influence and build credibility with C‑level executives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
• Familiarity with ATLAS commercial tools.
