Global Accounting & Consolidation Analyst

About the role

The Global Accounting & Consolidation Analyst supports MCM’s worldwide finance operations, providing actionable insights, ensuring accurate reporting and consolidation, and driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monthly closing and consolidation of global financial results, complying with IFRS and internal processes.
• Review and validate subsidiary submissions, including intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for the Executive Board with analysis and commentary.
• Supervise and administer the global chart of accounts, cost/profit centers in SAP, and the Group Finance Manual.
• Support annual budgets and rolling forecasts with regional finance teams.
• Act as a financial business partner for assigned regions, providing insights and recommendations.
• Analyze key metrics, trends, and variances to identify risks and opportunities.
• Drive improvements in reporting and consolidation processes and tools.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Higher degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 3‑5 years experience in financial analysis, reporting or consolidation in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
