Global Commercialization Director, Glomerulonephropathy (GN)

About the role

The Global Commercialization Director for Glomerulonephropathy (GN) will shape commercial strategy and global launch plans for GN indications such as IgAN and PMN. This senior leader will drive long‑term success of Biogen’s nephrology assets across multiple indications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a cross‑functional team to develop and execute commercialization strategy aligned with senior leadership.
• Deliver a market‑shaping plan that includes scientific exchange, evidence generation, patient advocacy engagement, and public policy impact.
• Define a world‑class launch plan ensuring organizational readiness and appropriate resource allocation.
• Coordinate with product development and global commercialization leads for other indications to maximize overall asset value.
• Collaborate with regional and affiliate colleagues to ensure launch and patient access worldwide.
• Assess competition, identify opportunities, and refine global strategy amid changing market dynamics.
• Partner with Global Finance to develop long‑range and annual operating plans and evaluate business opportunities.

Required profile

• Highly collaborative leader with strong nephrology background and experience engaging medical experts, prescribers, patient advocacy groups, policy makers, and investors.
• Proven leadership, planning, analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Bachelor’s degree (Advanced degree preferred).
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Global or affiliate commercial experience.
• Prior product launch experience; digital stakeholder engagement desired.
• Nephrology expertise.
• Experience working with R&D functions and strong clinical acumen.
