Global Customs Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a Global Customs Advisor to join our Financial Services and Trade Affairs team at our headquarters in Uzwil. The role supports local business units and worldwide subsidiaries, ensuring smooth customs clearance, compliance and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise import and export processes across the group.
• Provide expert advice on origin determination and foreign‑trade regulations.
• Support business units and subsidiaries with customs clearance and compliance issues.
• Represent foreign‑trade topics in internal projects and drive SAP GTS roll‑outs.
• Monitor regional and global trade developments and assess impact on supply chains.
• Conduct customs and origin checks, deliver training and act as main contact for authorities.

Required profile

• Degree in business administration or a related field, preferably with a focus on foreign trade.
• Extensive knowledge of Swiss and EU customs law and hands‑on experience in an international industrial environment.
• Service‑oriented, resilient personality with strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
