Global Logistics Analyst

About the role

VAT Group is seeking a Global Logistics Analyst to drive data‑based improvements across its worldwide logistics network. You will work with cross‑functional teams to analyse performance, optimise flows and support strategic supply‑chain projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse global logistics data, costs and operational performance to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and monitor logistics KPIs, reports and cost‑saving initiatives across the organisation.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses and translate findings into practical process and service improvements.
• Optimise inbound, outbound and internal goods flows, including transportation routes and distribution processes.
• Monitor carrier performance, delivery reliability, logistics quality and customer service levels.
• Support logistics procurement activities such as transport capacity, warehouse space and external logistics services.
• Collaborate with inventory planners to improve inventory visibility, cost control and materials management.
• Lead or support cross‑functional continuous improvement projects and implement global logistics best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• At least five years of experience in logistics, supply chain, analytics, consulting or finance.
• Experience in inventory, demand or supply planning, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management skills.
• Fluent German and English with strong communication and influencing abilities.
• Structured, self‑motivated and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, matrix‑based environment.
