Global Key Account Manager – Food & Beverages

About the role

Mettler Toledo seeks a Global Key Account Manager to drive cross‑divisional business development for Food and Beverage production and analysis customers. Based at the global headquarters in Greifensee, Switzerland, you will build strategic relationships with key decision makers and propose solutions that meet their objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term business relationships with key decision makers at selected local (DACH) and global target accounts in the Food & Beverages production industry.
• Create and execute business development plans, support local sales teams, and coordinate with Business Area managers and support functions to implement account plans.
• Lead the development and negotiation of contractual agreements and ensure their execution.
• Develop deep knowledge of the Food & Beverages segment and Mettler Toledo’s product/solution portfolio, monitoring competitive and regulatory trends.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering, natural sciences, economics or a comparable field.
• At least five years of experience in key account management or sales.
• Proficiency with IT tools (Microsoft Office) and internal systems (CRM, SAP).
• Ability to work in a global environment with cultural awareness.
• Strong strategic, analytical, interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Business‑fluent English and German; French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 20‑30% of the time.
