Global Medical Science Leader – Alzheimer’s Disease

About the role

Roche is expanding its global medical affairs team in Neurology with a focus on Alzheimer’s disease. The Global Medical Science Leader will act as the core medical and clinical expert, shaping medical strategy and bridging clinical research with practice to advance disease‑modifying treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate medical strategy contributions to the integrated product life‑cycle for assigned Alzheimer’s products.
• Develop and execute evidence‑generation strategies that address clinical practice data and market access needs.
• Coordinate integrated evidence strategy, linking Clinical Development Plans with market access and value demonstration.
• Collaborate with Scientific Communication, Patient Partnership, Commercial, and R&D teams.
• Represent medical expertise in research and practice to drive transformation of the disease area.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (MD) with clinical research and patient‑care decision‑making experience.
• Neurology board certification and specific Alzheimer’s disease expertise (fellowship or equivalent).
• Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment.
• Strong understanding of integrated development and commercialization planning.

Required skills

• Expertise in evidence generation and translating complex medical data into actionable strategy.
• Deep scientific knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and neurology.
