Global Payroll & HR Systems Manager

About the role

Join lastminute.com’s People Operations team as the Global Payroll & HR Systems Manager. Based in Chiasso, Switzerland, you will lead payroll operations and HR system administration for a worldwide workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end global payroll operations for all countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and regulatory compliance.
• Own and manage all HR systems (HRIS/HCM) globally, acting as the primary system administrator and driving continuous improvement.
• Lead global HRIS implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring seamless integration with finance and other internal systems.
• Maintain compliance and security protocols for payroll and HR systems across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage relationships with external payroll providers and HRIS vendors worldwide.
• Develop and maintain global reporting metrics on payroll, HR data and system performance for senior leadership.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices for payroll and HR systems configuration and data integrity.

Required profile

• At least 7 years of experience in global payroll management and HR systems administration.
• Deep knowledge of complex multi‑country payroll processes and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record of leading HRIS implementation, integration and optimisation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to embrace change and improve operational efficiency.
• Strong ownership of the global HR systems perimeter with autonomous work style.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
