Global Planner

About the role

The Global Planner represents Supply Chain Planning within the Supply Strategy Team, responsible for planning, controlling, and scheduling activities for assigned active ingredients. This role translates demand, supply capability, sourcing strategy, and inventory requirements into feasible, time‑phased supply plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rolling 24‑month production, supply, and inventory plans for active ingredients.
• Translate demand, supply capability, and sourcing strategy into aggregate supply and inventory plans across the S&OP horizon.
• Balance customer service, inventory, capacity utilization, supply risk, and total business cost when developing supply plans.
• Identify capacity constraints, supply gaps, and inventory risks; develop corrective actions and optimization recommendations.
• Participate actively in the S&OP process, providing supply‑planning insights, scenarios, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate planning data and parameters across applicable systems and support planning capability development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Science or related field.
• At least five years of professional experience in supply chain, manufacturing or procurement.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work across functions, cultures, regions and time zones.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP, IBP, ERP or comparable supply‑chain planning systems.
• Experience with planning applications such as OBP and aggregate planning.
• Data‑driven problem‑solving and systems/analytical thinking.
