Global Sales Account Director

About the role

The Global Sales Account Director will lead strategic relationships between World Courier and major global customers, driving revenue growth, profitability and service excellence across multinational accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with international, national and regional business goals.
• Lead a global team of account managers and cross‑functional partners, influencing without direct reporting lines.
• Own customer issues, escalations and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
• Drive global revenue growth, retention and service satisfaction for assigned accounts.
• Oversee RFP processes and support contract negotiations (MSA) for key accounts.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in strategic account management, global sales or related fields such as logistics, supply chain or pharmaceutical distribution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to lead through influence in a matrixed, multinational organization.
• Strong executive presence with a track record of value‑based selling and customer retention.
