Global Sites Network Communications Manager

About the role

Roche is seeking a Global Sites Network Communications Manager to lead communication strategies for its Sites Network worldwide. The role will bridge local and global needs, ensuring consistent messaging and supporting change adoption across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated communication strategy for the global Sites Network aligned with organisational goals.
• Coordinate messaging across multiple Sites Network evolution workstreams to ensure consistency and relevance.
• Create clear, engaging content—including written pieces, presentations, videos and digital assets—to translate complex topics into actionable messages.
• Build strong relationships with Sites Network leaders, program leads and cross‑functional teams to co‑create communication strategies.
• Establish and guide a network of change‑communication enablers at local sites and collaborate with the Implementation Management Office.
• Monitor employee feedback and engagement metrics, adjust communication approaches, and provide data‑driven insights on ROI.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s preferred) in Communications, Marketing, PR or related field with 7+ years of internal and external communications experience, preferably in pharma, diagnostics or a highly regulated sector.
• Proven ability to craft compelling narratives and translate technical subjects into clear, persuasive messages across digital and traditional channels.
• Strategic thinker who designs purpose‑driven, measurable communication plans and uses analytics to refine impact.
• Experienced in navigating complex, matrixed environments and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong leadership style – capable of coaching, mentoring and enabling cross‑functional teams without direct line‑management responsibility.
• Fluent in English; German proficiency is a clear plus.
