Global S&OP Lead

About the role

The Global S&OP Lead will own the end‑to‑end Sales & Operations Planning process across all regions, ensuring alignment between Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance. This senior position drives integrated business planning, scenario development and risk management to meet service, inventory, financial and growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly Global S&OP cycle, coordinating inputs from all functions and regions to produce a single aligned business plan.
• Facilitate Demand, Supply and Weekly S&OE meetings, capturing decisions, actions and accountabilities.
• Challenge assumptions, surface gaps between demand, supply and financial forecasts, and drive cross‑functional trade‑off discussions.
• Provide executive‑level insights and prepare materials for Global S&OP, LTDP, Budget, GLT and Board reviews.
• Own S&OP KPIs (forecast accuracy, bias, inventory performance, service levels) and lead root‑cause analysis of variances.
• Build strong relationships with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement and Logistics leaders, influencing without direct authority.
• Coach regional planning teams on S&OP best practices and act as deputy to the Global Senior Planning Manager when required.

Required profile

• Expert knowledge of S&OP, demand planning, supply planning and inventory management.
• Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across functions and regions in a matrix organization.
• Strong analytical skills with experience translating data into actionable business decisions.
• Experience in scenario planning, risk management and performance management.
