Global S&OP & Long-Term Planning Lead

About the role

Biogen is seeking a Global S&OP & Long-Term Planning Lead to drive the evolution of its Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and long‑term forecasting processes. In this highly visible position you will connect commercial strategy, supply chain execution, and financial priorities to support the company’s Vision 2030.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve global S&OP governance, cadence, standards and playbook.
• Facilitate regional Executive S&OP forums with Business Operations, Finance, Demand Planning and GSC leadership.
• Lead the annual Long‑Term Planning cycle, translating strategy into capacity and supply requirements.
• Integrate S&OP and long‑term planning outputs into financial, operational and capacity plans.
• Drive the transition toward enterprise‑wide Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and champion change initiatives.
• Mentor S&OP leaders and build a global planning community.
• Partner with IT to ensure planning technology and digital roadmaps support future capabilities.

Required profile

• Strategic, influential leader with a global mindset.
• Proven ability to influence across functions and geographies without direct authority.
• Strong business and financial acumen, comfortable with transformation and challenging the status quo.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, S&OP or related fields.
