Global Strategic Programs Lead

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Global Strategic Programs Lead within its Innovative Medicine group, reporting to the Strategy & Corporate Development function. The role leads the delivery of Strategic IMSC Programs and maintains the overall IMSC Strategic Program Capability across J&J IMSC, partnering with collaborators and the Strategy and Portfolio teams on business cases, portfolio intake and approvals. It is an onsite or hybrid position, with possible alternate hubs in Titusville, New Jersey; Horsham, Pennsylvania; Zug and Schaffhausen, Switzerland; Cork, Ireland; Latina, Italy; Beerse, Belgium; and Leiden, Netherlands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead program business cases and shape their delivery with sponsors and IMSC leadership, and track execution and value
• Integrate programs into sustainable operations and define implementation plans, including risk assessment and dependencies
• Own cross-supply chain delivery from strategy through issues management
• Define program structure, governance and key initiatives, and manage spend and resources
• Manage interdependencies with enabling and network projects
• Provide training, coaching and development to the program team
• Communicate transparently with stakeholders and leadership, and sponsor teams and drive issue management

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
• Supply chain experience, including value chain, manufacturing, external vendor management or related areas
• Program management and people leadership experience, preferably leading global teams
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA or a focused degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or Supply Chain preferred
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; up to 15% domestic and international travel; minimum three days on site per week, with two remote days
