GMP Manufacturing Operator (m/f/d) - Biotech

About the role

Nemensis AG, a recruitment partner for life sciences, is recruiting a GMP Manufacturing Operator (m/f/d) for its client, a biopharmaceutical manufacturer operating modern cleanroom facilities that combine single-use and stainless-steel technologies. The assignment runs from 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2027 in Schachen (LU) and is a temporary placement.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out sampling according to approved plans, SOPs and batch records
• Prepare, set up and clear manufacturing equipment before production runs
• Support assembly and disassembly of single-use systems and process equipment
• Perform routine operator duties in Weigh & Dispense and upstream/downstream solution supply areas in line with GMP and GDocP standards
• Run and support washer and autoclave processes according to validated cycles
• Keep manufacturing rooms audit-ready through cleaning and equipment maintenance support
• Handle material staging, transfers and inventory checks, including incoming inspections
• Document work in batch records, logbooks and electronic systems and report deviations and safety observations

Required profile

• Technical or scientific vocational training (e.g. biotechnology, chemistry, laboratory technician)
• At least 3 years of experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing, ideally in biotech or pharma
• Knowledge of GDP and ALCOA+ principles
• Experience with single-use and stainless-steel biotech equipment
• German and English

Required skills

• Familiarity with sampling, material handling and GMP documentation
• Comfortable working in cleanrooms
