Graphic Designer & Production Specialist

About the role

FASTSIGNS is seeking a creative Graphic Designer and Production Specialist to produce high‑quality full‑color graphics and vinyl outputs for a fast‑paced sign shop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create computer‑generated full‑color graphics and vinyl files that can be printed, mounted, weeded, cut and applied to various substrates.
• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or supplied artwork to meet production specifications.
• Determine size, layout, typography and arrangement of illustrative material based on space, aesthetic goals and production requirements.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before output and ensure correct material and device settings are used.
• Maintain a customer logo library and convert graphic files as needed.
• Operate large‑format printers and learn basic production techniques, including use of light power tools.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of graphic design experience (sign‑shop experience preferred but not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
• Ability to prioritize jobs, multitask and work autonomously.
• Comfortable sitting at a computer screen for long periods (4+ hours).
• Capable of working under pressure to deliver high‑volume, high‑quality output.
