Group Business & Financial Controller – Bellinzona Area

About the role

We are seeking a Group Business & Financial Controller for the Bellinzona area to join our international company's Group Finance team. The role involves controlling, reporting and consolidation activities that support the company’s continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare periodic consolidated financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and net financial position.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and consolidated reporting processes.
• Act as finance point of contact for selected international subsidiaries and collaborate with local management.
• Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and oversee intercompany invoicing procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of Group Consolidated and Statutory Financial Statements.
• Support cross‑functional projects, process improvements and M&A activities through financial analysis.
• Manage accounting and financial reporting for assigned cost centre.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and Group policies while providing operational finance support.

Required profile

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or Economics.
• 4‑5 years of relevant experience in controlling.
• Excellent command of Italian and English (minimum C1); German or French a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, continuous‑improvement mindset with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Flexible, autonomous and comfortable handling a broad range of finance‑related activities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Good knowledge of Power BI and interest in AI tools applied to finance.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
