Group Controller – Bellinzona Area

About the role

An established international company is looking for a Controller to join its Group Finance team in the Bellinzona area. The role covers controlling, reporting and consolidation activities within a dynamic, collaborative environment that supports the company's continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare periodic consolidated financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Net Financial Position.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and consolidated reporting processes.
• Act as the Finance point of contact for selected international subsidiaries, working closely with local management teams.
• Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and oversee intercompany invoicing procedures.
• Support the preparation of Group Consolidated Financial Statements and Statutory Financial Statements, including related reconciliations.
• Assist the Head of Finance with cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Support M&A activities through financial analysis and reporting.
• Manage accounting and financial reporting (actuals and forecasts) for the assigned cost centre.
• Ensure compliance with internal administrative procedures and Group policies while providing operational support to the Finance function.

Required profile

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or Economics.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Controlling.
• Excellent command of Italian and English (minimum C1); knowledge of German and/or French is an asset.
• Previous experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, flexible and autonomous, able to collaborate with international stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Good knowledge of Power BI and a strong interest in AI tools applied to Finance.
