Group Financial Accountant (80-100%)

About the role

We are seeking a customer‑ and team‑oriented Group Financial Accountant to join our Group Functions at the Flamatt site. You will be responsible for the monthly Group consolidation, external IFRS reporting and supporting the year‑end close.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly Group consolidation in Hyperion HFM, including intercompany profit elimination and key closing activities.
• Prepare external IFRS financial reporting and support management/Board presentations.
• Lead year‑end closing activities such as impairment testing and IAS 19 actuarial evaluations, and support the external audit.
• Advise Group companies on accounting/reporting and maintain the Group Accounting Manual.
• Drive Group Accounting projects, including new standards, M&A, system implementations, digitalisation and process improvements.

Required profile

• A degree in business administration, finance, accounting or a related field; CPA, Swiss/German Wirtschaftsprüfer or equivalent qualification is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with month‑end and year‑end closing in Hyperion HFM or a comparable consolidation system, and external IFRS reporting, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Proven expertise in preparing IFRS financial statements, Board‑level reporting and supporting external audits.
• Strong advisory skills with experience guiding subsidiaries on accounting policies and reporting requirements.
