Group Financial Controller

About the role

Our client, a well‑established hospitality organisation, is seeking a Group Financial Controller to strengthen its Finance function. The position is based in Switzerland with flexible location options and reports directly to the CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day controlling, month‑end close and management reporting for the business unit.
• Consolidate results from multiple outlet entities into a single, reconciled view.
• Perform variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting support and profitability analysis at outlet and segment level.
• Oversee cost, labour and procurement spend controlling, as well as internal control routines.
• Manage business‑unit overhead controlling, cross‑entity benchmarking and the consolidation calendar.
• Support strategic long‑term planning and drive systems and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide functional guidance to individual unit finance teams.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of finance experience, including operational controlling with hands‑on close, reconciliations and reporting.
• Proven experience consolidating results across multiple entities or sites.
• Experience guiding junior finance staff is an advantage.
• Strong preference for a background in hospitality.
• Relevant degree in finance, accounting or economics; professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) desirable.
