Guest Services & Protocol Expert

About the role

The Guest Services & Protocol Expert will lead the VIP programme for UEFA events, ensuring a seamless and high‑quality experience for distinguished guests. Working within the Guest Management and Protocol team, you will coordinate operational delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with UEFA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the VIP programme at assigned events, including UEFA club competition finals, the UEFA Congress and competition draws.
• Develop operational plans in collaboration with the Protocol and Guest Experience Manager and track milestones to meet deadlines.
• Conduct site visits to assess operational areas and align set‑up with event requirements.
• Coordinate with Guest Services, Ticketing and other project teams, as well as internal staff and freelancers.
• Lead the on‑site VIP programme, ensuring smooth execution and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures, documentation and presentations.
• Optimize operations for cost‑effective delivery and handle centralised logistics and staffing administration.
• Conduct post‑event debriefs, compile statistics, feedback and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business or sports management.
• 4–6 years of experience in sports and event project management.
• 4–6 years of experience leading guest experience programmes in the events industry.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to relocate to Switzerland or France.
