Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (80-100% FTE)

About the role

EUROFIMA is seeking a senior leader to head its Financial Planning & Analysis function. Reporting to the CFO, you will act as a strategic partner, providing insight‑driven advice and shaping key financial decisions for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO to challenge and advise on major financial and business decisions.
• Build and scale the FP&A function, designing planning, forecasting and performance reporting frameworks with support of 0.4 FTE.
• Develop and maintain treasury‑ and rolling‑stock financing models for planning, stress testing and decision‑making.
• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, KPIs) and translate results into actionable insights.
• Own the quarterly forecast process and lead the annual budgeting and strategic planning sessions.
• Produce high‑quality Board of Directors and Audit & Risk Committee materials, including scenario analyses.
• Collaborate with investment, treasury, risk and IT teams to enhance analytical capabilities, notably in SimCorp Dimension.
• Support risk management, hedge accounting, valuation changes and Asset & Liability Committee initiatives.
• Promote a data‑driven performance culture across finance and the wider organization.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, economics or business administration.
• 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, accounting or risk management within a financial institution, supranational or public‑sector environment.
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities with a proven track record of influencing senior management.
• Experience building and leading FP&A functions is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SimCorp Dimension.
• Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills.
• Knowledge of treasury and rolling‑stock financing concepts.
