Head of FP&A

About the role

The Head of FP&A will lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function for MET Group, an integrated European energy company. Reporting to the Holding CFO, the role is responsible for delivering robust management reporting, annual business planning and quarterly performance reporting for the Group and its segments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Group-wide business planning process, collaborating with global business leaders to define the operating model for the upcoming year.
• Prepare quarterly performance reports for the Executive Board in close cooperation with corporate functions and business divisions.
• Support the Holding CFO organization with corporate approval of business plans and quarterly performance reports.
• Enhance financial and analytical processes covering P&L, cash‑flow, product performance, credit & market risk, financing and related controls.
• Oversee bi‑weekly Group forecasts, monthly management accounting and ad‑hoc analytical tasks.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to develop deep business understanding and deliver clear, relevant analysis.
• Build strong relationships with Group Segments (Sales & Trading, Renewable & Asset) and functional CFOs and Controllers.

Required profile

• Proven senior experience leading FP&A functions, preferably in a multi‑commodity or energy environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior executives across regions.
• Demonstrated ability to design and improve financial reporting and planning processes.
