Head of International Order Management

About the role

The International Order Management department drives end‑to‑end efficiency across Roche’s global supply chain. As Head of International Order Management you will lead a cross‑regional team, shape strategic policies and steer operational excellence to ensure resilient, compliant order fulfillment worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, standardise and automate global order management processes to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure strict compliance with export, customs and foreign‑trade regulations across all regions.
• Lead and develop a multicultural team of International Order Managers in Switzerland, Germany and the USA.
• Drive cross‑functional projects, acting as the primary interface between internal stakeholders and external logistics partners.
• Monitor core Order Management KPIs and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7‑8 years of experience in international logistics and supply chain management.
• Proven transformational leadership and ability to manage senior‑level, cross‑cultural teams.
• Fluent business English and strong interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Technical proficiency with SAP ERP systems.
• In‑depth knowledge of export and customs processes and foreign‑trade law.
• Experience applying Six Sigma methodologies for process optimisation.
• Project management expertise.
