Head of Legal

About the role

We are seeking a pragmatic, business‑oriented Head of Legal to lead all legal activities for our Swiss retail operations. You will act as a trusted advisor to the Leadership Team and work across functions such as Retail Operations, Real Estate, IT, Marketing, Finance, HR, Procurement and Regulatory Affairs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate secretarial activities, board and shareholder resolutions, and ensure compliance with Swiss corporate governance requirements.
• Draft, review, negotiate and maintain a wide range of commercial contracts, lease agreements, construction and technology service agreements.
• Provide legal guidance on data protection, IT SaaS, cloud and cybersecurity provisions.
• Advise on Swiss regulatory framework for optical retail, consumer protection and marketing compliance.
• Oversee litigation, coordinate external counsel and define legal strategies for dispute resolution.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Swiss Law; Swiss Bar admission strongly preferred.
• 8‑12 years of legal experience in a law firm or in‑house, with strong expertise in Swiss commercial and corporate law.
• Proven track record in contract drafting, negotiation and risk management.
• Solid knowledge of real‑estate, construction and data‑privacy law (nFADP/GDPR).
• Fluent in English and French; German is a strong asset.
