Head of Organic Growth

About the role

As Head of Organic Growth you will lead EF’s global strategy to increase visibility and student enrollment through organic channels. Based in Zürich, you will shape search, social, AI‑driven discovery and third‑party partnerships across more than 50 markets and 25 languages.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a holistic organic visibility strategy covering traditional and AI‑driven search, organic social, digital PR and partnership platforms.
• Oversee technical SEO architecture, ensuring crawlability, indexing, site performance, structured data and multilingual optimisation.
• Build scalable content frameworks and global guidelines that empower local teams while maintaining brand consistency.
• Lead a team of 6‑8 specialists in SEO, content, technical and social disciplines and collaborate with paid media, creative, PR and engineering teams.
• Monitor algorithm and platform changes, drive experimentation, and continuously test content performance.
• Define, track and report organic KPIs such as impressions, traffic, leads, bookings, share of voice and brand citations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in organic marketing at a global, multi‑market, multi‑language scale.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through organic discovery in research‑driven industries.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO and ability to manage complex site architectures.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and working closely with paid, creative and engineering stakeholders.
