Head of People & Culture – Lugano

About the role

We are seeking a senior Head of People & Culture to join the executive team of a fast‑growing international company based in Lugano. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the people strategy, nurture the organisational culture and ensure the talent pipeline supports ambitious growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a People & Culture strategy aligned with the company’s business plan.
• Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior leadership on organisation, talent and leadership matters.
• Translate business priorities into workforce planning, organisational design and succession strategies.
• Lead talent acquisition for senior and critical roles and strengthen employer branding in Swiss and international markets.
• Develop leadership assessment, succession planning and executive development programmes.
• Evolve performance management systems, design compensation reviews and incentive programmes.
• Build career frameworks, internal mobility pathways and drive organisational effectiveness across functions and geographies.
• Champion the company’s culture, employee experience and change initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience in fast‑growing, international organisations.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to influence C‑level executives.
• Track record of designing and implementing scalable HR processes and organisational structures.
• Expertise in talent acquisition, leadership development and succession planning.
• Experience managing performance, compensation and employee engagement programmes.
• Excellent communication and change‑management skills.
