Head of Procurement (Lausanne)

About the role

We are seeking a strategic Head of Procurement to lead procurement activities across multiple sites in a complex, service‑driven environment. Based in Lausanne, you will be responsible for shaping the regional procurement strategy, driving cost optimisation, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a regional procurement strategy for several locations.
• Lead cost‑optimisation initiatives while maintaining operational quality and business continuity.
• Negotiate with suppliers, manage contract renewals and drive vendor consolidation to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Enforce budget discipline and procurement compliance across all sites.
• Identify and standardise process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Deploy, adopt and continuously improve digital procurement systems and tools.
• Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks to monitor supplier performance and savings.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance and local site management to support business objectives.
• Champion change‑management initiatives to strengthen governance and accountability.

Required profile

• Proven senior procurement or purchasing leadership experience in a multi‑site services environment.
• Strong track record of cost control, vendor negotiations and delivering measurable savings.
• Hands‑on experience with procurement systems and digital tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead transformation and enforce compliance across decentralized organisations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑influencing skills.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
• University degree or equivalent in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
