Junior Supply Chain & System Professional

About the role

You will support day‑to‑day logistics operations and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives, leveraging digital tools and systems to enhance operational performance, improve data visibility and support decision‑making. As a member of the Logistics Operations team you will help deliver efficient and sustainable supply‑chain solutions for CERN’s community, covering goods reception, internal delivery, stores, storage and mail services.

Key responsibilities

• Support logistics operations, including inventory management and process optimisation.
• Improve data visibility through tools such as Power BI and ERP systems and contribute to KPI monitoring and reporting.
• Contribute to the implementation of efficient and sustainable supply‑chain solutions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate operations‑related projects with various stakeholders and contractors.

Required profile

• First experience in supply‑chain operations and logistics, including inventory management and process optimisation.
• Exposure to project management, data analytics and visualisation using tools such as Power BI, Excel or ERP systems.
• Experience working within a multinational team and fluency in English and French.

• A monthly net stipend of 5 266 CHF or 5 793 CHF depending on your degree.
