Head of Product Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Product Operations to build and scale the operational foundation of a growing product organization in Switzerland. This senior role combines strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder management to enable product teams to deliver impactful solutions efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage a unified product operations framework that enhances planning, coordination, execution, and communication across product teams.
• Facilitate cross‑team planning processes, including roadmap alignment, goal setting, prioritisation, and progress tracking.
• Establish scalable operating processes, audit existing workflows, and implement improvements to remove bottlenecks and reduce complexity.
• Create and maintain collaboration frameworks such as operating agreements, dependency management, risk tracking, and escalation procedures.
• Develop execution management models for strategic initiatives, ensuring visibility, accountability, and alignment across stakeholders.
• Optimise the use of project‑management and collaboration tools, driving standards, adoption and effective usage.
• Document important decisions, learnings and retrospectives to ensure accessibility across the organisation.
• Explore and implement AI‑powered tools and automation solutions to boost team productivity.
• Act as an operational partner to product leadership, translating strategic goals into effective execution.
• Build, mentor and develop a high‑performing product operations team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in product operations, product management operations, program management or a similar role within a technology‑focused organisation.
• Proven track record of designing, implementing or significantly improving operational processes for product teams.
• Experience facilitating cross‑functional planning cycles, goal setting, roadmap synchronisation and execution tracking.
• Strong understanding of task‑management systems, documentation platforms and collaboration tools.
