Head of Program Management

About the role

The Head of Program Management will orchestrate cross‑functional programs and projects spanning product development, manufacturing, and launch. Reporting to senior leadership, this role ensures global planning consistency and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define, prioritize, and drive execution of programs across product development, industrialization, and operational launch.
• Maintain planning consistency and strategic alignment across all departments.
• Monitor project performance against time, budget, and risk parameters; facilitate issue resolution with key stakeholders.
• Manage cross‑functional projects and product CAPAs, ensuring timely and compliant resolution.
• Support leadership decision‑making, escalation management, and 18‑month product roadmap reviews.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve the program management framework, including methodologies, standards, tools, and governance structures.
• Train and coach teams on best practices and tooling.
• Lead and develop a team of project/program managers, fostering a high‑performance, collaborative culture.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering, business administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of successful experience in complex project/program management within the medical device industry or a similar sector.
• Strong knowledge of medical device standards and regulations.
• Exceptional leadership, time‑management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of medical device standards EN13485, MDR and FDA requirements.
