Housekeeper - Live-Out, Gstaad

About the role

A client is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to keep a private chalet in Gstaad to a very high standard. The role suits a reliable, autonomous person who can make sure the property stays perfectly maintained, especially while the principal is in residence. It is a live-out position with a 50% workload all year round (about 4 to 5 hours per day) and an immediate start.

Key responsibilities

• Full housekeeping of the chalet: cleaning, organisation and upkeep
• Laundry management, including clothing, bed linen, towels and delicate items
• Wardrobe care and ironing
• Keeping the chalet clean, organised and ready for the client's arrival
• Managing household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
• Running occasional errands if required
• Supporting the household when the principal is present
• Flexibility to adapt working hours when the client is staying

Required profile

• Proven experience as Housekeeper in a private household; House Manager experience is a strong plus
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Good knowledge of the Gstaad area
• Driving licence required
• Discreet, reliable, organised and detail-oriented
