HR Financial & Compensation Expert

About the role

The HR Financial & Compensation Expert will join UEFA's HR Operations team in Nyon. The role focuses on payroll validation, budgeting, benefits governance and HR financial analytics to ensure compliant, transparent and competitive compensation services across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct benchmarking analyses and provide market insights to support compensation decisions.
• Assist in pay‑equity monitoring and salary review processes to promote fairness.
• Prepare accurate staff‑cost budgets and forecasts, anticipating organisational and market changes.
• Deliver compliant monthly payroll in line with Swiss labour law and social security requirements.
• Ensure strong governance by managing compliance, risk, audit coordination and reporting to finance and external auditors.
• Advise HR business partners and managers on payroll, compensation and benefits matters.
• Produce high‑quality HR analytics and reports to support data‑driven workforce decisions.
• Guide employees on social security, pension, retirement and tax issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll, compensation, social insurance and tax within a Swiss corporate environment.
• Proven ability to maintain robust HR financial infrastructure, including budgeting, reporting and audit support.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or a related field; HR certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in English and French.
• Residency in Switzerland or nearby France.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP or comparable HRIS/payroll solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
