About the role
This is a hands‑on HR leadership role within a fully remote, cross‑disciplinary game development environment. You will own the full employee lifecycle and partner closely with leaders to build scalable people processes.
Key responsibilities
- Own full‑cycle recruitment across the studio, from intake to offer negotiation and closing.
- Plan hiring proactively with team leads, identify talent gaps and build structured interview processes.
- Manage candidate pipelines, ATS workflows, recruiting metrics and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Coach managers on interviewing, hiring decisions and HR policies.
- Benchmark salaries, design competitive offers and ensure internal consistency.
- Oversee onboarding, employment contracts, payroll forecasts, leave management, benefits and off‑boarding.
- Handle terminations professionally, ensuring legal compliance.
- Act as a neutral HR partner for conflicts, personal challenges and sensitive matters.
- Monitor early attrition indicators and support engagement and retention initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to strengthen culture, values and employee experience.
Required profile
- 7+ years of HR experience, including in medium‑to‑large technology companies.
- Strong full‑cycle recruitment experience in technology or gaming environments.
- Proven ability to run efficient, rigorous hiring processes using structured interviews and scorecards.
- Experience handling employee relations, conflicts and difficult conversations with neutrality.
- Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting metrics.
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools, specifically Jira and Confluence.
- Experience using Slack as a structured communication platform.
- Daily familiarity with AI tools and interest in applying AI to HR workflows.
