HR Generalist

About the role

The HR Generalist will support Martel GmbH and its subsidiaries by partnering with managers to deliver end‑to‑end HR and administrative services. Reporting to the Head of Finance and Administration, you will help drive employee engagement, compliance, and operational efficiency across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and off‑boarding.
• Provide HR advice on employee relations, performance improvement plans, and career development.
• Design, deliver, and oversee training and development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss employment legislation and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data integrity.
• Support HR reporting, analytics, and data‑driven decision making.
• Oversee time‑management processes and assist with monthly payroll administration.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline HR processes.
• Handle ad‑hoc HR and administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Swiss HR Fachausweis (HRSE).
• 4–6 years of HR generalist or HR operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss labour laws and regulations.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Professional, discreet handling of confidential information.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, service‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS/ERP systems such as Odoo.
• Experience with HRIS/ERP systems such as Bexio.
