HR Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, service‑oriented HR Specialist to join our small HR team in Zurich. You will work in a fast‑growing, dynamic environment, handling a broad range of operational HR tasks while actively supporting recruitment initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including data management, onboarding, off‑boarding, sickness notifications and monthly reporting.
• Coordinate full‑cycle recruitment: draft job ads, work closely with hiring managers, schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, conduct reference checks and support background screening.
• Provide payroll support by performing four‑eye reviews, answering payroll queries and liaising with external payroll providers.
• Administer HR systems such as Personio and Workable, ensure data quality and implement system updates.
• Assist with HR budget administration, invoice processing and cost tracking in collaboration with Finance.
• Support HR projects, internal and external reporting, and provide general administrative assistance as needed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in HR services, administration or a similar operational HR role.
• Proven track record in recruiting and a strong motivation to own the recruitment process.
• Completed HR‑related education, training or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent German and English communication skills (business level English).
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
