ICT Coordinator

About the role

United Machining, a Swiss manufacturer of precision machining and mold-making equipment, is looking for an ICT Coordinator in Meyrin. The role ensures reliable, secure and efficient ICT services in collaboration with central IT teams and external providers, acting as the main local ICT contact and supporting business users and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate local ICT operations and act as the main contact between business users, corporate IT teams and external providers
• Coordinate incident, request, problem and change management, including escalations
• Support local application support with business stakeholders and third-party providers
• Provide ICT support to users in office and production environments
• Monitor service quality and provider performance against agreed service levels
• Maintain operational procedures, documentation and asset records, and manage user accounts and equipment lifecycles
• Ensure accurate inventory of ICT assets and take part in ICT projects and infrastructure improvements
• Drive improvements to service quality, efficiency and user experience, and ensure compliance with ICT policies and security requirements

Required profile

• Degree, higher education diploma or equivalent in IT, computer science or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in IT support or ICT coordination in Microsoft-based enterprise environments
• Proven experience supporting business users and coordinating external IT service providers
• Experience in an international, multi-site organization is an asset
• Fluent French and professional written and spoken English; willingness to work occasionally outside standard hours

Required skills

• Solid experience supporting Microsoft Windows 11 workplace devices
• Good understanding of IT security principles and ITIL/ITSM processes and tools
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
